This site was created to provide MS in Computing students a common facility to develop and share opinions on technology they are studying. Students use this blog to present professional opinion on topics addressed as part of our Professional Seminar in Computing. The seminar addresses current topics, encourages independent analysis of technology, fosters synthesizing relationships between isolated chunks of knowledge, and promotes communication skills.
We appreciate any feedback on the opinions expressed. The most recent topics for discussion are available on the tabs that appear on this page. We are in the process of preparing an archive as well.
Marquette University’s MS in Computing is a professional masters degree program that covers all of the disciplines of computing–computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, and information systems. In addition, our program provides interdisciplinary options that extend to any department on campus with graduate course work. We provide evening classes, online opportunities, and both degree and non-degree options.
